Electronic mailing list subscribers are users that get mass emails, including weekly and/or monthly newsletters. Based on the mailing list client program that’s used to manage a particular list, they may have joined personally, expressing their approval to be added to the mailing list, or they may have been included manually. The latter suggests that they will technically get unsolicited email messages. Ordinarily, subscribers can be managed by the mailing list administrator who can authorize or delete them, or they can unsubscribe manually if they don’t want to receive email messages from now on. All mailing list subscribers will always receive the same content provided that they are part of one and the same mailing list, but a single member will never be able to view the remaining mailing list members in the "To" field of the message.
Mailing List Members in Shared Hosting
In case you’ve got a Linux shared service with us and you create an Internet mailing list, you’ll be able to administer the subscribers easily. You don’t even need to log into your Hepsia Control Panel, since you can do everything via email from any location whatsoever. By sending emails with certain commands to majordomo@yourdomain.com, you will get access to lots of features offered by our popular Majordomo mailing list management software application. You can view a full list of all existing members, or if needed – you can include/remove members. If you include a new mailbox, the user in question will be notified and will have to confirm that they don’t mind being added to the mailing list. Deleting a member is also exceptionally easy – you’ll simply have to send an email to the administrator address associated with the particular mailing list.
Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you get a semi-dedicated server through us and you create electronic mailing lists via the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel, you’ll be able to manage all your subscribers without any difficulties. We offer one of the most popular mailing list managers called Majordomo. It will permit you to view all your subscribers, to include new or to delete existing ones by sending an email to the mailing list’s admin address, so you can manage everything without even having to sign into your hosting Control Panel. Of course, only you, being the mailing list moderator, will be able to do that. New mailing list subscribers need to confirm their membership, so the email messages that you send will be legitimate and you will not have to worry about email messages being reported as spam. We also have several how-to articles where you can find more information about how to administer the mailing list itself.
